Core values are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization. These guiding principles dictate behavior and can help people understand the difference between right and wrong. 4. Accepting accountability. Being accountable means that you accept responsibility for the outcomes expected of you, both good and bad. You don’t blame others, and you do the right thing even when it’s not easy.
