Services For Better Life
The process of living is the process of reacting to stress. People enter therapy when some aspect of their emotional life becomes painful or problematic and attempts to remedy the problem have been ineffective.
Individual therapy involves first a detailed and accurate assessment of the nature of the problem. Next, a treatment plan focused on an effective and caring solution for the problem is collaboratively developed and implemented.
In addition to the service areas listed below, Mind Minders offer group therapy for men and support groups for children that address social skills, self-esteem, and coping with divorce.
We also offer mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) groups designed to target anxiety and depression as an alternative to medication as well as food/eating awareness workshops.
We periodically provide other specialty support groups which are structured, short-term, and address issues which many struggle with such as anxiety, changing destructive habits, relationships, and more. (See our workshops page) If there is an area you would like one of our workshops to address, please contact us.
